Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Ferravum (“we”, “us”), the service available at ferravum.com and its game servers. They apply to the website, the account service, every game server and every purchase made through them.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in. Where a term conflicts with that law, the law wins and the rest of the terms stand.

Your account

You need an account to play. You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission, to create one. One person holds one account; the account holds one character on each server.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself, use one you do not use elsewhere, and tell us at once if you think someone else has it. We will never ask you for your password.

Fair play

Ferravum is built to be fair, and most of these rules protect that. You agree not to:

• run more than one account, or use another person’s account, to gain an advantage;
• automate play with scripts, bots or tools other than the game’s own Auto Battler;
• exploit a bug, an unintended interaction or an error in pricing instead of reporting it;
• attack, probe, overload or interfere with the service or another player’s access to it;
• harass, threaten, impersonate or defraud other players, or use names and texts that are hateful, obscene or that pass you off as staff;
• buy, sell or trade accounts, characters, gold or items for real money outside the game.

Enforcement

If we believe an account breaks these rules we may warn, rename, restrict or ban it, remove gold or items gained unfairly, and reverse their effects on other players. A ban may be timed or permanent. We apply bans by hand and we explain them on request; you may appeal through Support and we reverse a ban when we were wrong.

A banned account keeps no claim to Premium time, diamonds or items on it.

Premium and purchases

Ferravum can be played without paying. Premium and diamonds are optional, and they buy convenience and cosmetic or time-saving benefits; they do not buy anything you could not reach by playing.

What you buy is a licence to use those benefits inside the game, for as long as the service and your account exist. Diamonds and Premium time have no money value, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be cashed out.

Prices include the taxes that apply where you are, and are shown before you confirm. Digital content is delivered the moment the payment goes through; where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase, you agree that delivery begins at once and that the right ends once Premium time or diamonds have been credited. Where the law of your country says otherwise, the law applies. If a purchase does not arrive, Support will trace it.

Content and ownership

The game, its name, its world, its art, its text and its code belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. Your account gives you a personal, non-transferable right to play; it does not give you ownership of any character, item, currency or data in the game.

Names and texts you enter stay yours, but you give us the right to show them inside the game and on the website — a character name on a leaderboard, say — and to change or remove any that break these terms.

The service

Ferravum is a live game and it changes: we add, rebalance, rename and sometimes remove content, and we tune numbers — prices, drop rates, the strength of an enemy — as the world grows. We may take a server down for maintenance, and we try to say so in advance. A test server may be reset at any time without notice.

We may stop offering the service, or a server, if we must. We will give reasonable notice where we can, and we will keep offering what you have paid for as long as that is possible.

Liability

We provide Ferravum as it is. We do not promise it will be available at every moment, free of errors or exactly as it was yesterday. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of progress, items, gold or Premium time, or for any indirect loss, arising from using or being unable to use the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death, injury, fraud or gross negligence.

Ending the agreement

You may stop playing whenever you like, and you may ask Support to delete your account; deletion removes every character on every server and cannot be undone. We may end the agreement by closing your account if you break these terms, or with reasonable notice if we stop offering the service.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the game changes. The date at the top says when they last did. For a change that matters to you we will tell you in the game or by email before it takes effect, and if you keep playing after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree with a change, stop playing and ask us to delete your account.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator of Ferravum is established, without taking away the protection you are entitled to under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. If we disagree, write to us first: almost everything is solved by a message. Consumers in the European Union may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
